Lors de l’atelier d’aujourd’hui, Adrien Occelli, directeur des études et développement véhicules DSI en charge du développement des applications métiers chez CAT apportera son éclairage professionnel sur la question des API de PTV.

Sur la question du choix de PTV comme éditeur de logiciel pour accompagner l’activité transport du Groupe, Adrien Occelli répond « Leurs outils ont été choisis en premier lieu pour la pertinence de la cartographie, adaptée aux contraintes des poids lourds. Par ailleurs les solutions proposées par PTV permettent une intégration facile, et un haut niveau de performance. La stabilité du service est excellente. »

Adrien Occelli prendra la parole à la SITL aujourd’hui, afin de mieux détailler certains éléments concrets tels que le géocodage du référentiel logistique, l’assistance à la planification des camions dans le TMS, et l’intégration du calcul d’itinéraire dans le processus de préfacturation pour les sous-traitants.

CAT Group presents a successful model of transport API integration

With the objective of ensuring flexible and efficient management of its transport operations, CAT Group offers its employees a unified experience within tools developed internally. The integration of API PTV into its information system has added new logistics and transport functionalities, thus bringing real added value to the management of its transport activity and its business constraints.

During today’s workshop, Adrien Occelli, Director of Studies and Development for Vehicles and CIO in charge of developing business applications at CAT, will shed some light on the issue of PTV’s API.

On the question of why PTV was chosen as the software publisher to support the Group’s transport activity, Adrien Occelli answers “Their tools were chosen first and foremost for the relevance of the cartography, adapted to the constraints of heavy goods vehicles. In addition, the solutions offered by PTV allow for easy integration and a high level of performance. The stability of the service is excellent.”

Adrien Occelli will be speaking at SITL today, in order to better detail certain concrete elements such as the geocoding of the logistics repository, assistance with truck planning in the TMS, and the integration of route calculation in the pre-billing process for subcontractors.
